Open Invitation

On the Eve of new year’s birth
I sit on my chair and burst
Into tears and laughter, feeling
The worst, loneliness and despair
Hopes, praises, heartbeats and races
It all little much matters
To the tingling sense of coming anew

There is no weight to carry
No reason to feel weary
I can leave it all behind
The good and the ache
Let the next step be kind
And curious

There is an open invitation
An enveloppe left on the corner table
I might just open it
It only takes another breath

Will you?
Let’s meet up next year!
